Geography is what connects us, as people, with the Earth we inhabit. GIS is what integrates our modern world with the Earth and with one another.
Using data retrieved from GIS Open Data, this project depicts water quality in the state of Michigan. The map shows the water quality of streams, inland lakes, reservoirs, communities and the Great Lakes. Purple and pink represent the worst water quality of streams and blues represent the best quality. With the Great Lakes, the darker the blue the worse the water quality. The larger the yellow dot, the higher concentration of 4:2 Fluorotelomer Sulfonic Acid (4:2 FTS). See More

Ohio Precipitation Levels
This project represents precipitation levels in the state of Ohio with inches of rainwater. It also displays counties in the state to show which counties receive more precipitation than others and where it accumulates in relation to Ohio airport locations. Tools utilized in this project were the IDW tool, the Spline tool, and the Zonal Statistics tool. See More
Water in Columbiana County, Ohio
This displays a wide range of different representations of the landscape for Columbiana County, Ohio. Within this project, I display the watershed, two different kinds of flow direction, slope grid, stream arteries, and flow accumulation. I also utilized the Model Builder to combine tools together to have all data account for the previous tool used. See More
Symbology and Landscape
This representation of the Columbiana County landscape includes different kinds of land types and waterways as well as the highways and rural, commercial and industrial areas in the county. It also accounts for slope and flatlands. The Model Builder was used in to connect the various tools together to create the display you see here. See More
Fastest Route
This map utilizes “fastest route” in ArcGIS to show what is the fastest route a delivery driver would take to deliver books to various different libraries around the town. The libraries are also relative to their proximity to schools and account for road blockages and construction. See More
